Affiliates skip the Basic plan
Kajabi's help center says affiliates are only on Growth and Pro. Growth is $249 a month, or $199 billed yearly. Basic at $179 can't run them, so creator promotion through Kajabi starts with an upgrade.
Alternatives / Kajabi
Kajabi is a monthly plan for courses, sites and email, with affiliates on sales. Rovalty is a smaller, different thing: brands pay creators per 1,000 verified views.
| Rovalty | Kajabi | |
|---|---|---|
| Fee | 0% commission | No revenue share, card or provider fees apply |
| Pays on | Each 1,000 verified views | Your customers' purchases |
| Tracking | Official TikTok, Instagram and YouTube APIs | Sales, clicks and affiliate conversions |
| Branding | yourbrand.rovalty.com free, your own domain on paid plans | Your own Kajabi site |
| Pricing | Free, then $29, $79 and $199 a month | $179, $249 or $499 a month |
Rovalty works for course brands that want creators promoting them at a set rate per verified view. Kajabi is the better pick if you need courses, funnels, email and a community under one plan, since Rovalty offers none of that. Think of Rovalty as an extra channel, never a new course home.
Our pick, for brands paying creators per view. Written by Rovalty and last checked .Kajabi is an all-in-one business platform for courses, communities, websites and email. It says it takes no revenue share. A course brand wanting wider reach can run Rovalty next to it. A creator with a Kajabi business can also join a brand's view campaign, with their courses staying exactly where they are.

A Share Link sale counts when the purchase happens in the same browser that clicked. Someone who watches a video on a phone and later buys on a laptop may not be credited, and this page describes no view tracking.
You can batch commissions and pay outside Kajabi, or schedule payments through PayPal, which needs a PayPal Business account. It works fine for commissions on sales, but it isn't built around a per-view rate.
Courses are often a slow decision. Kajabi affiliates only earn after a purchase. With Rovalty, a creator earns on verified views, which suits videos that introduce you to people who aren't ready to buy yet.
Plans run from Free to $199 a month. But that price doesn't include courses, funnels, email or a website. Rovalty has none of those, so it adds to your Kajabi bill rather than replacing it.
Rovalty reads views from the official TikTok, Instagram and YouTube APIs, hourly for 48 hours and daily after that. There's no click cookie involved, and no screenshots to check.

Kajabi is much larger as a product. Rovalty only competes on one narrow thing, which is how you pay creators who promote you.

Some on this list host courses or memberships. Others only handle creator promotion and would sit beside Kajabi.

Teachable hosts courses, coaching and digital products, with unlimited students on its main plans. Starter still takes 7.5% of sales, and its affiliates on higher plans earn a share of revenue rather than pay for views.
Patreon gives creators memberships, digital sales and community tools, paid for by their own fans. It takes a 10% platform fee from new creators, and it doesn't offer brand campaigns paid on views.
Ko-fi lets fans tip creators and buy shop items, commissions and memberships, with no monthly cost on its free option. It still takes 5% on non-tip sales without Gold, and it offers no brand pay based on views.
Buy Me a Coffee gives creators one-time support, memberships and a shop, with free posts and email. It takes 5% per transaction plus Stripe fees, and it has no way for brands to pay on views.
Whop Content Rewards lets a seller set a rate per 1,000 views, review submissions and have Whop pay creators. It suits teams that don't want to send payments, and it deducts 10% of amounts paid for that.
Vyro takes your footage and a funded budget, then its clippers post and its team reviews every post. Its help center mentions fees without publishing a percentage, and the money runs through its wallet.
Clipbot pulls clips from a Twitch channel, crops and captions them, and publishes to TikTok and YouTube Shorts. It charges a plain subscription and takes no fees on pay, because it has no view-based creator pay at all.
ClipIt, from MonsterLab, sends one brief to a large network across TikTok, Reels, Shorts and X, and screens accounts for fake engagement. It doesn't publish a brand fee, and its terms deduct 5% from clipper payouts.
Vidsflow describes a short-video app with editing tools, trending sounds and AI effects. Its fees aren't published, and its site doesn't describe view-based pay for brands to use.
Your courses, students and emails all stay on Kajabi, and nothing gets imported. Just choose what you want creators to talk about, and where the caption should point.
Set a rate per 1,000 views, minimum views, a per-video cap and a budget. Your Rovalty page goes live at yourbrand.rovalty.com on any plan.
Share your page yourself, as there's no automatic migration. Creators sign in with Google, then submit videos. You pay them directly from each Monday's statement within 7 days.
Stay on Kajabi if it runs your courses, community, site and email. Rovalty does none of those, so moving away would leave you with nowhere to sell. Consider Rovalty only as an addition: a brand buying reach at a set rate, or a course creator who also wants brand campaign income.
