It tells you views are out of scope
FirstPromoter's own FAQ says views and reach stay in each platform's analytics, and that a different tool category fits CPM deals better. That is a fair answer, and it means a view-based rate has no home here.
Alternatives / FirstPromoter
FirstPromoter pays partners when a subscription bills. Rovalty sets a rate per 1,000 views and checks the count through official platform APIs. Neither one takes a cut, so the real choice is what you want to pay for.
| Rovalty | FirstPromoter | |
|---|---|---|
| Fee | 0% commission | No transaction fee listed on its pricing page |
| Pays on | Each 1,000 verified views | Billing events, flat fees or both |
| Tracking | Official TikTok, Instagram and YouTube APIs | Links, coupons and conversions |
| Branding | yourbrand.rovalty.com free, your own domain on paid plans | Custom dashboard domain from $99 a month |
| Pricing | Free, then $29, $79 and $199 a month | From $49 a month, by affiliate revenue |
Rovalty is our pick when you want to pay creators per 1,000 verified views, with 0% commission and a white-label page. FirstPromoter is the better choice for subscription businesses that want commissions on billed revenue, since it follows renewals, upgrades and cancellations, and Rovalty has no sales tracking at all.
Our pick, for brands paying creators per view. Written by Rovalty and last checked .FirstPromoter is affiliate and partner software for subscription businesses. It tracks link clicks, coupon redemptions and conversions, then works out commissions from billing tools such as Stripe, Paddle, Recurly, Chargebee and Braintree.
FirstPromoter's own FAQ says views and reach stay in each platform's analytics, and that a different tool category fits CPM deals better. That is a fair answer, and it means a view-based rate has no home here.
The product is built for subscription and recurring-revenue businesses, and commissions follow renewals, upgrades and cancellations. A brand with no subscription to bill has little for it to read.
The custom dashboard domain is not on the $49 Starter plan. It arrives with Business at $99 a month, which also covers up to $15,000 a month in affiliate revenue.
You set a rate per 1,000 views, a minimum view count, a cap per video and a budget. Views come from official TikTok, Instagram and YouTube APIs, hourly for 48 hours and then daily until tracking ends.
A required mention, name or link in the caption ties a video to a campaign. Nothing has to connect to Stripe or any billing tool, so it works whether you sell subscriptions, products or neither.
Creators sign up at yourbrand.rovalty.com on every plan. Your own domain, creators.yourbrand.com, comes with paid plans, which start at $29 a month.

Both skip a commission on your money. The gap is in what each one measures and who it was built for.

Rewardful gives software companies a native Stripe connection and charges 0% on affiliate revenue, with optional paid payouts. Its commissions follow revenue, and its pricing page lists no view-based pay for your own creators.
PartnerStack runs affiliate, co-sell and referral programs for B2B SaaS, with a marketplace and automated commission payouts on one invoice. It charges a fee on commissions and triggers pay on events like sales, not on views.
Tapfiliate covers affiliate, referral, influencer and partner programs from one tracking system, with published overage rates. Its pricing lists no transaction fee, but its tracking stops at clicks and conversions, with no view-based pay.
Refersion gives ecommerce brands cookieless first-party tracking and a marketplace for finding affiliates. Its paid Shopify plans still take 2% to 3% of affiliate sales, and its offers pay on orders, not views.
Fourthwall gives creators a shop, fulfilled merch, digital goods and memberships. It takes a cut on digital and membership sales, and its help page says it has no feature for paying people who promote your shop.
Stan gives creators a simple store for courses, bookings and digital products, and it takes no cut of sales. It still charges a monthly plan, and its affiliates are paid on sales rather than views.
Beacons bundles a link in bio, store, email and a media kit that creators use to pitch brands. Lower plans take 9% of sales, and the creator pages we read describe deals priced per piece, not pay per view.
Gumroad lets anyone sell digital products with no monthly charge, and it's quick to start. It earns through fees on each sale, 10% plus 50¢ or 30% through Discover, and nothing is priced on views.
Lemon Squeezy handles checkout, subscriptions and sales tax for software and digital products, and its team is now also building Stripe Managed Payments. It takes 5% plus 50¢ per sale, and its affiliate tool pays on sales rather than views.
Create your page, then set the rate, minimum views, per-video cap and budget. The site says this can take under five minutes. That covers the setup, not creators arriving.
There is no import and no automatic move from FirstPromoter. Send creators your link. They sign in with Google, link their social accounts and submit video links.
The statement closes on Mondays. You have 7 days to pay creators directly and record the reference. Balances under $25 roll over. You can keep FirstPromoter running for commissions.
Stay with FirstPromoter if you run a subscription business and want partners paid on revenue you actually billed. Rovalty doesn't track sales, so it can't replace that job.
